Mei Zen acupuncture was developed by Dr. Martha Lucas, PhD, LAc. as a protocol for cosmetic acupuncture using traditional Chinese medicine channel theory. The literal translation of Mei Zen is beautiful person.

Q: Does it hurt? A: It CAN be a bit more sensitive in areas around the face but the sensation, like other body needles is very brief Q: How often do I need to come? A: For optimal results it is best to come twice weekly for 5 weeks. It takes 5 weeks for the collagen matrix to firm up and provide lasting results. Q: Do I need to come again after the 10 treatments? A: It's best to come every 3-4 months for a maintenance treatment. This varies from person to person and would be discussed at the initial consultation. Q: Is there is discount for buying the 10 sessions up front? A: Yes! Normal session cost is $100/treatment. If you purchase the 10 treatments up front it's 20% off ( a savings of $200) |
